EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, BBVA PENSIONES
Luis Vadillo heads the Instituto BBVA de Pensiones, a non-profitable organisation of BBVA group born in 2013. The organisation helps citizens of Spain and Portugal with their financial health in retirement, providing free information and pension simulations, as well as formal papers about the pension system situation and proposals for both countries. The Instituto BBVA de Pensiones is backed by an international board of experts. One of them is Mr. Edward Palmer, father of the Swedish pension reform and consultant of many pension reforms in the world. Luis Vadillo also heads the European business of BBVA Asset Management, after over 22 years of a professional career focused on the pension and asset management industries, including at MERCER, Renta 4 and Arthur Andersen (now Deloitte).
