Victoria Barron joined BT Pension Scheme as Head of Sustainable Investment in June 2020. She leads the scheme’s stewardship and sustainable investment strategy and Net Zero 2035 Goal. Prior to this, she was at Newton Investment Management as a responsible investment analyst within the responsible investment team. Before Newton she worked for Hermes Equity Ownership Services, the FTSE Group and CCLA Investment Management. She has previously sat on a number of investor-related advisory bodies including the Investment Association Climate Change Working Group, 30% Club Investor Group, UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association Analyst Committee, the QCA Corporate Governance Expert Group and the Science Based Targets Financial Institution Expert Advisory Group (SBTI). Barron has an Environmental Technology MSc from Imperial College and has also studied at Manchester University and Oxford Said Business School.
