Jared Carney
Founder & CEO, Lightdale

Jared Carney founded Lightdale, a global holding and strategic advisory firm, in 2012, working with institutional investors, family offices, corporations and governments. Prior to Lightdale, Carney served as Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer at the Milken Institute for nine years. Among other accomplishments, he established the Global Capital Markets Advisory Council and its Asia centre in Singapore. He also served as a senior adviser to Knowledge Universe. Previously Carney worked in the high-tech and media industries where he successfully founded, launched or helped build a number of innovative companies. Carney sits on various company boards internationally. At the request of Olafur Grimmson, the then president of Iceland, Carney also serves on the board of advisers of The Arctic Circle, a global, non-partisan organisation dedicated to increasing participation in Arctic dialogue. Carney is a co-founder of the Arctic Maritime Exchange, and a senior adviser to a group of governments as well as the Milken Institute and Prostate Cancer Foundation.
