Martínez-Aldama joined INVERCO (Spanish Association of Investment and Pension Funds) in January 2015 from CNMV (Spanish Stock Exchange Commission). He has worked in the asset management industry since 1990. Martínez-Aldama has three decades of experience as a financial analyst and as a representative of organisations of Asset Management and Pension Funds. He is board member at EFAMA (European Funds and Asset Management Association, based in Brussels), as well as board member at FIAP (International Pension Fund Association, based in Santiago de Chile). He has also been Chairman and Vice-Chairman at PensionsEurope (European Association of Pension Funds, based in Brussels), as well as member of the board at EAMA (European Asset Management Association, based in London). Martínez-Aldama is also involved in representative positions at CEOE (Spanish Employer Association, based in Madrid) as member of the board and he is also member of CNMV Advisory Committee and DGSFP Advisory Committee (Insurance and Pension Funds Spanish Supervisor). He holds a Degree in Law and Business Administration from ICADE (Pontificia Comillas University), in Madrid.
