Tim Umberger is Deputy Head of Eastern Europe and advises on the Balkan strategy and Eastern European mandates as well as on frontier Latin America for the global frontier markets strategy at East Capital, which he joined in 2008 as Analyst for the Balkans before being promoted to Senior Analyst in 2010, Portfolio Advisor in 2012 and Deputy Head of Eastern Europe in 2015. Since 2010 he has been based in Moscow. Umberger is a member of the board of B92 and AIK Banka in Serbia. Prior to East Capital, he was an equity analyst at KD Group, covering Balkan and other Eastern European companies. He holds a master's of science in finance from Ljubljana University and is a CFA charterholder.
