Friedrich Mostböck has been Head of Group Research and Chief Analyst of Erste Group Bank AG since 1996, with responsibility for macroeconomic, fixed income and equity research in Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Turkey. Mostböck is also President of ÖVFA (the Austrian association for financial analysis and asset management). In 2012, he was elected deputy chairman of EFFAS (the European federation of financial analysts societies, of which he is also chairman of the ESG committee, and is a member of the Austrian Working Group for Corporate Governance. Mostböck has a master's in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and has successfully completed the ÖVFA/EFFAS course of financial analysis and portfolio management, which earned him the degree of Certified European Financial Analyst.
