Nicholas Silver

Nick Silver is Director at Callund Consulting Limited. He is founder/chair of Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), founder/director of Radix Big Tent Ideas Festival and chair of Callund Consulting. Silver is a visiting fellow at Bayes (City University) Business School, where he teaches the emerging global risks course. He has worked with the UN, World Bank and over 30 countries’ governments on climate change and economic development. He recently won The President’s Award for outstanding contribution to the Actuarial Profession and the Phiatus Award for his charitable efforts. He recently published a book, Finance, Society and Sustainability that was published by Palgrave Macmillan. Silver is a Freeman of the City of London.
