Kristian Høeg Madsen is Portfolio Manager at Schroders Greencoat. He joined in 2022 as an Investment Director and is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, transacting and managing energy transition investments and runs the investments in hydrogen and derivatives. He was previously at European Energy and spent five years at Bain & Company as a project manager specialised in renewable energy and two years in the pension fund ATP.He was business development at European Energy, which became one of the leading European developers of solar PV, onshore wind and power-to-x projects most notably with a market-leading development of the first large-scale e-methanol project. He holds a PhD in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and Niels Bohr Institute and an MSc from Imperial College London.
