Gwen Busby is Head of Research and Strategy at Nuveen Natural Capital, where she focuses on natural capital market analysis and specialised econometric and stochastic modelling. She previously worked as an assistant professor of natural resource economics and quantitative methods at Virginia Tech and as a senior scientist at the University of Virginia. Her research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international environmental and natural resource economics conferences. Busby graduated with a BA in Economics from Middlebury College, an MESc from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a PhD in Natural Resource Economics from Oregon State University.
